Marine Village
Cardiff Marine Village is a marine business park home to 10 complementary marine related companies including our Cardiff Marine Service Centre, outboard engineer, sail loft, chandlery, broker, canoe and kayak centre, RYA training centre and boat insurance company.
Service Centres
The Marine Group currently has two servicing centres offering boat owners a wide range of servicing, repair, refit, lifting and boat building facilities.
Our Cardiff Marine Service Centre operates from purpose built workshops at Cardiff Marine Village providing extensive facilities for all elements of boat repairs, refits and servicing
Our Marine Service Centre operated by Swansea Marine Group work from large workshops in Swansea Marina offering a wide range of complementary marine services
Chandlery
In association with Force 4 Chandlery, Swansea Marine Group run a chandlery through their Marine Service Centre in Swansea Marina providing boat owners with the opportunity to purchase frequently used items and order requested items.
New Building Project at Cardiff Marine Village
Cardiff Marine Group will shortly be submitting plans for a new building at Cardiff Marine Village. The building will provide accommodation for a further six complementary marine business and will include spaces for additional workshops, shops, offices and a coffee shop.
Bayscape Hotel, Spa & Conference Centre
At height the hotel will enjoy panoramic views of Cardiff, the Severn Estuary and the Bay. It's bespoke design will provide contemporary accommodation for a 5 star flagship Wyndham hotel. Wyndham offer the comfort and amenities you'd expect in a world-class hotel. Beautifully appointed public areas and well designed meeting facilities. Thoughtfully detailed guest rooms. Outstanding dining, from signature restaurants & imaginative room service. The only other Wyndham in the UK is in Chelsea Harbour in London.
The hotel will include:
- 227 bedrooms
- A hotel braserie, a sky bar and restaurant
- A conference centre, business suites and meeting rooms
- A luxurious spa, fitness centre & resident's pool
Bayscape Residences
Carefully designed for the owner occupier and for the second home market. Integrated and appealing - the development will mark new standards in terms of architectural appeal. The buildings will be sculpted and contain glazed facades which provide light internal spaces. They will connect with the water, interact with the marina and create a dynamic public realm with wide open walkways and thoughtful landscaping.
At the very top of the tower there will be 28 ultimate apartments. These will be serviced by the hotel and owners will enjoy unparalleled access to the hotel facilities and services. They will be available to purchase outright for exclusive use or alternatively they can be included in a membership scheme where owners can also elect to allow the hotel to book them at times of peak demand and enjoy a modest return on their investment.
Bayscape Commercial Spaces
The development will include a limited number of commercial spaces. The commercial operators will be carefully selected to add value to the residents on site, to the Wyndham Hotel business and to Cardiff Marina.
The following uses are being considered and expressions of interest are invited for:
- A branded convenience supermarket.
- A marina clubhouse including a bar/café, office and shower facilities.
- A branded coffee shop.
- A property management, sales and letting agent.
- A boutique health and beauty practice including an optician, dentist and hairdressers.
- A professional brokerage, boat sales and charter operation.
- A branded marine clothing retailer.
- A waterbus operator's office.
- A delicatessen and specialist off licence.
- An IT support consultancy.
