Unfortunately, some of our planned activities have been curtailed by the failure in the marina gate which we are currently addressing. Subject to weather, new parts will be fitted early next week. The gate failure has meant that we have been unable to conduct sluicing which in turn supports the planned works. As a consequence, the following timetable will apply.
13th April – Pre-trial bathymetric survey
18th April – 7-day higher tides – Seaka dredging
4th May – Doonhamer and Seaka dredging trial begins.
Dates for other elements of the plan will be confirmed once the marina gate is fixed. They will all however progress as previously outlined, and works will continue throughout 2023 to progress the much needed dredging programme.
