The weekend of the 24th / 25th July marks the 20 year anniversary of Watchet Marina.

This landmark occasion allows us to celebrate being part of such a vibrant community and look forward to bringing the marina back to its former glory with our dredging programme. Due to our dredging success to date, we have capacity for visiting boats to join us in the celebrations.

📲 Please call the marina office on 01984 322230 to book your space for the weekend.

🍔 🎸For all annual and visiting berthing boat owners and their guests, there will be a complimentary BBQ and entertainment between 1pm and 4pm on Saturday 24th July at the marina.

🏆 There will also be a ‘best dressed boat’ competition with the prize awarded during the cutting of the ribbon ceremony at 6pm.

Our Director, Christopher Odling-Smee, says;

Since taking ownership of Watchet Marina at the start of April of this year, we have been welcomed with open arms by the local community. As waterside place-makers, we are delighted that the people of Watchet join us in our vision to bring this beautiful marina back to its former glory with our dredging campaign and other improvement plans.

The 20th anniversary marks a new start for the marina and the dredging progress we have already made in our short time of ownership allows us to welcome visiting boats to join us in celebration of this milestone event. Later this summer the marina will be watered throughout and reinstate itself as an integral part of the Watchet community.

The weekend celebrations will also include a street market on The Esplanade both Saturday and Sunday and the ‘cutting of the ribbon’ celebration at the marina at 6pm with speeches and the Mayor of Watchet, John Irven, cutting the ribbon.
