Notice to Mariners: British National Water Ski Race Sunday 18th May

On Sunday 18^th May 2014, the British National Water Ski Race will be taking place in Cardiff Bay.

Vessels are requested to keep clear of the race area (see below) between the following times:

Sunday 18^th May                   1000 hrs – 1500 hrs

The race area will be marshalled by the Harbour Authority and Race Control vessels.  Access to and from the Harbour Authority Pay and Display pontoon at the Roald Dahl Plass will be restricted between 1000hrs and 1500hrs on Sunday 18^th May. Public vessels on the pontoons during these times must remain there until the access has re-opened.

Mariners are requested to keep clear of the exclusion zone and to navigate at dead slow speed in its vicinity to keep wash to a minimum.

Mariners are reminded that CCTV is in operation at the Barrage for operational and health and safety reasons. All CCTV images and VHF transmissions are recorded.
