The owners of Aberystwyth Marina, The Marine & Property Group Ltd, have relocated their marina office into Harbour House and taken over the management of the building. The new location offers the company a great vantage-point over their 165 berth marina and the opportunity to expand their onsite chandlery and boatyard services.
The company have plans to develop the building to increase occupancy and diversify the units available on the site. The building offers a range of flexible and affordable office spaces and meeting rooms starting from 130sq ft. The company is also creating a business hub area for hot desking and shared office solutions to help cater for start-up and smaller businesses, who often seek more fluid rental options as their business grows.
Director Chris Odling-Smee commented “We are excited at the potential Harbour House offers for businesses in the area looking for a new office space or meeting rooms to rent. By offering flexible rental agreements and introducing schemes for occasional office space we hope to support local businesses and create a modern, well serviced entrepreneurial centre in this landmark building.”
As well as the tenants within Harbour House, the marina itself caters for annual and seasonal berth holders and is very popular with visiting boat owners. Therefore, the company is also keen to develop the food and beverage offering at the site for the benefit of berth holders, tenants and the local community.

We are keen to optimise this beautiful setting for more people to enjoy and are in discussions with the local planning office to include restaurant or café units on the ground floor to maximise the terrace area and add to the facilities available at the marina.”
