DREDGING UPDATE
Given the current situation with the Covid-19 pandemic, the planned dredging schedule at Burry Port Marina has been somewhat affected. Our water injection dredger CMS Innovation is now on site and is working double tides whenever the conditions are suitable. The work to the new larger dredger has been delayed, due to the current travel restrictions causing the third party work to be interrupted. We have had correspondence from Natural Resources Wales in relation to the mechanical dredge and they have requested some updates to the licences before this can proceed which we are currently working on.Please rest assured that we are committed to carrying out a significant dredging campaign in Burry Port and ongoing maintenance dredging, but given the current restrictions we are having to adjust the order of works and refresh the planned timeline.COMMERCIAL FISHERMEN
For Commercial Fishermen with a valid Seafish Commercial Fishing Licence, we ask that if you are going fishing you please follow the buoyed channel and be aware of the dredger operating in the harbour. Please also forward a copy of your valid commercial licence to bob.hockey@themarinegroup.co.uk for our records. All other berth-holders should be following the government advice to stay at home.

BOAT CHECKS
Please rest assured that during this time of uncertainty, our key staff are on site and are continuing with daily checks and essential marina maintenance as well as checking lines and fenders. If you have a specific concern you would like checked on your boat (eg: electric, gas, bilges etc) while you remain at home following government advice, please do not hesitate to contact us via phone or email.
We thank you for your understanding during this difficult time for us all. We hope that the restrictions will soon be lifted and you will once again be able to visit your boat and enjoy your time on the water.
