Notice to Mariners – Cardiff Bay

No 07– World Half Marathon Championships – Saturday 26th March 2016 – Barrage bridge closures

The World Half Marathon Championships will take place on Saturday 26^th March 2016, over a course which includes the Barrage. Therefore the Barrage lock bridges will remain closed between 1330 hrs and 1530 hrs on the day of the race.

Mariners requiring a bridge to be raised to enter or exit the lock are advised that the last lock out will be 1300 hrs. The last inbound lock before the restriction will be at 1245 hrs.

Locks will be available throughout the period for vessels which do not require the lifting of the lock bridges to access the locks.
