Coffee shop opening at Cardiff Marine Village

For all lovers of espresso, cappuccino and latte we are pleased to announce the opening of Cardiff Marine Village’s brand new coffee bar ‘Shhh…..it’s all about the coffee’ is located on the balcony of the main building and serves coffees, teas, soft drinks and cakes. Watch the world go by from our outside seating and enjoy some of the best coffee in town. We will be open for business from 10am-1pm Wednesday to Saturday as from Wednesday 11th April. SeaSafe Lifejacket service point at Cardiff Marina

Cardiff Marina is now a SeaSafe Lifejacket service point. Lifejackets like all safety equipment, need to be checked and serviced at regular intervals, you can now leave your lifejacket at the Marina Office and SeaSafe will collect it for servicing. J2X ready for the new season

Our marine services team have been working hard over the past couple of weeks to ensure that the boat our very own Dave Freemantle races on is ready for the new season! To ensure the boat is in the best condition the team have carried out the following race preparation work; profiled the keel; fabricated four new delrin bearings for the rudder pintles to eliminate play in the rudder; faired certain areas of the hull under the waterline to ensure a streamlined shape and carried out several GRP repairs. We wish the guys luck in their 2012 campaign and the World Championships.

Cardiff Marine Village Expansion

We are delighted to announce the acquisition of a further 1 acre of land at Cardiff Marine Village. This will bring the total size of our Penarth Road site to 1 hectare and will see a number of exciting new services over the next year. The additional space will allow for the creation of a new hard standing storage centre at Cardiff Marine Village. This new dedicated hard storage area will replace the land at Roath Basin which is now being developed by the Dr Who Exhibition and will offer long and short term hard standing storage for boat owners, in a convenient location with easy access to the other services on offer at the marine business park. The number of dry stack spaces is also set to increase to a total of 220 spaces in phases as the popularity and take up continues to mount. A new building housing a further six businesses with spaces for offices, shops and workshops is also planned, to add and compliment the range of services already offered on the site. The Marine Group gets the wind in its sails with Santander Corporate Banking

The Marine Group, one of the country’s fastest-growing marine leisure and service companies is set to expand further, after securing a finance deal with Santander Corporate Banking.
