Christopher Odling-SmeeDirector
Christopher Odling-Smee is one of the three principal directors and shareholders of The Marine Group and is behind the development and expansion of the group's facilities and development programmes. Christopher owns and directs numerous businesses ranging from property to management consultancy in both the UK and Switzerland where he lives with his family.
Drew McDonaldDirector
Drew shares the running of The Marine Group's activities with his fellow directors and is responsible for the ongoing development of the business. He is a principle shareholder and is proud to be part of such a progressive organisation. Prior to The Marine Group, Drew ran an international property business and a niche investment consultancy. His passion for property remains undiminished and his enthusiasm for the marine industry grows exponentially each day.
Kerry McDonaldDirector
Kerry's business experience includes a broad range of skills, from direct marketing and sales in his overseas property company to Sales Director of a public corporation. Kerry enjoys the everyday challenge of business and is delighted to be a director and shareholder in one of South Wales' most exciting companies.
Rob FreemantleDirector of Operations & General Manager
Rob is responsible for the day to day running of The Marine Group and works closely with the principal Directors with their ongoing development plans across the Group. He has a wealth of experience in the marine trade making him invaluable to the company and our customers. His experience includes being coxswain of a Bristol Channel pilot cutter, running his own sailing school for 17 years, being a competitive offshore racer and being the former Harbour Master of Cardiff Bay. He is currently a highly regarded RYA Yachtmaster Examiner for both power and sail boats.
