The Marine Group have successfully been awarded a contract for water injection dredging in Burry Port Harbour. We carried out an initial trial over 20 tides which removed a metre of built up silt in an agreed test area within the marina. The dredger will now be working in Burry Port Harbour for an agreed period of time up until the end of December. The Marine Group are looking at increasing their dredging capability by investing in other machinery to complement their existing water injection dredger.
