Job vacancy: Receptionist Cardiff Marine Village

We are looking for a full-time receptionist to join our team at Cardiff Marine Village to give a warm welcome and greet our customers whilst performing various accounting and administrative duties.

Duties involve –

  • Directing visitors to the correct department
  • Answering phone calls, letters and emails and/or directing these communications to the correct department/manager
  • Making customers and visitors to the site feel welcomed and answering their questions
  • Taking berthing and servicing enquiries
  • Processing new Berth holders on SAGE & spreadsheets
  • Invoicing customers for Mooring fees and any work on their boat
  • Taking payments from customers
  • Completing administrative tasks like filing and delivering and accepting mail
  • Cleaning, organising and maintaining reception area
  • Ordering supplies for the offices
  • Setting up meeting facilities
  • Scheduling appointments and meeting times
  • Assisting with admin duties, bookings and other tasks set by management

The candidate needs to be welcoming, numerate, punctual, have a good telephone manner, knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills and knowledge of boating and SAGE would be useful.

Job Type: Full time Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm

Salary: Dependent on experience
