Following the Prime Minister’s announcement last night, we would like to update you on our efforts to follow the government guidelines. We are committed to the health and well-being of our staff and berth holders and therefore ask, that in line with the latest government guidance, you stay at home.
Current regulations state that you may only leave your homes for one of four reasons:
- “Shopping for basic necessities, for example food and medicine, which must be as infrequent as possible.
- One form of exercise a day, for example a run, walk, or cycle – alone or with members of your household.
- Any medical need, or to provide care or to help a vulnerable person
- Travelling to and from work, but only where this absolutely cannot be done from home.
These four reasons are exceptions – even when doing these activities, you should be minimising time spent outside of the home and ensuring you are 2 metres apart from anyone outside of your household.” Source gov.uk
While many of our staff are now working from home, we do still have staff on site at our marinas who are doing their best to look after the safety and security of your boats, so please rest assured they are being cared for in your absence. If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact us as we are still available on the phone, email and via our social media platforms.
