DREDGING AT ABERYSTWYTH MARINA NEARLY COMPLETE
We are pleased to announce that The Harbour Management team are close to completing a scheduled maintenance dredge at Aberystwyth Marina. The campaign started at the beginning of December with ‘CMS Innovation’ removing silt deposits within the marina area.
CMS Innovation is the ideal vessel for tight corners and working at close quarters to the pontoons without the need to dismantle the infrastructure. Her manoeuvrability belies the fact that she has the power to remove around 150 m3 of sediment per hour.
The team are busy working two tides per day and will leave the marina before Christmas, ensuring maximum possible depths ahead of the 2021 season.
